Breda McCague, a Corcaghan woman and CEO of AIMING4AWESOME Ltd, based in Carrickmacross, who offers motivational speaker services and is a leadership specialist, won the Corporate and Public Sector Award at the 2025 Women Changing the World Awards ceremony, which took place recently in the very elegant Hyatt Park Hotel on the River Thames, London . The Women Changing the World Awards celebrate and recognise women achieving outstanding success in areas such as sustainability, humanitarian work, leadership, advocacy, technology, product development, education, health, and innovation.
The awards recognise the growing number of women who are leading the way in making the world a better place for everyone. The awards also aim to inspire other women to answer the call to act. Breda said she was excited to win gold in the Corporate and Public Sector category, in the 2025 Women Changing the World Awards: “I never thought a girl reared on a farm in Corcaghan, Monaghan, who ended up becoming a single mum, could transform her life so much so that she ended up taking gold in the Women Changing the World Awards.
“When Women learn to believe in themselves and get the right type of inspirational people around them, everything changes, their resilience grows, and they are able to take on great challenges in life. “I want the future to be easier for the girls and women and for all genders in the generations coming behind us.
