Protestors came from County Monaghan, Tyrone and beyond to attend a demonstration at the border at Moybridge outside Aughnacloy on Saturday, organised by Border Communities Against Brexit. A range of speakers gave their insightful and informative views on the current Brexit situation and the wider implications and threats for all members of border communities.
Well-known local community leaders John Connolly from Connons near Clones and John Moyna from Knockatallon gave their views on the issue. Solicitor Niall Murphy from Belfast who was one of the organisers of the recent “Beyond Brexit – The Future of Ireland” conference in Belfast also spoke.
