Monday April 30 2018 was a memorable day for the Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board’s second group of trainees who successfully completed what was formerly called the British Horse Society Assistant Instructor Course at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre, Glaslough. They assembled with family members to celebrate their successes in the salubrious surroundings of the castle on the estate in glorious sunshine and were treated to champagne and canapés in the company of host Sammy Leslie together with team tutors and representatives of Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board.
