Denise Kelly-McAuliffe was the woman behind last Sunday’s St. Louis Secondary School Carrickmacross Class of ‘73 Reunion.
Limerick-based Denise told The Northern Standard that although she had maintained regular contact with some school pals, she hadn’t seen some people since the day they finished their Leaving Cert.
Twenty-nine of her former classmates showed up and during her speech she thanked all who had made the effort to come, adding that there might be a further reunion this summer for those who couldn’t make it.
Denise was disappointed that some boarders didn’t make it, but conceded that a lot of people are Dublin-based.
