MICHAEL’S STAR CONTINUES TO RISE

Clones fans of the RTÉ singing competition show ‘The Voice of Ireland’ are getting used to a familiar face appearing regularly as local lad and employee at ABP Food Group, Michael Lawson, has been singing up a storm on the show! Three judges turned their chairs for Michael in the initial blind auditions round but it was popular judge and team leader, Niall Breslin –better known as Bressie – whom Michael chose as his mentor.

As part of Bressie’s team, Newbliss native Michael went through to the battle sing off and sailed through to the quarter finals round, which will see him singing this weekend, Sunday 10th April, in a live performance at the Helix in Dublin. Staff at ABP Food Group in Clones have been keeping up with their colleague, tuning in to the live shows each week. Speaking in support of Michael, John McMurry, Site Manager at ABP Clones, said: “Everyone at ABP Food Group in Clones is glued to Michael on the show andwe are exceptionally proud of his success. We are excited to see him performing so well and we wish him every success in the competition!”
