SHERCOCK-BASED WATER IS SHORT-LISTED FOR A TOP AWARD

THE popular Shercock-based Celtic Pure water has been short-listed as a finalist in the forthcoming Small Firms Association awards.

The Corcreagh-based bottlers of the finest natural spring water, have been named as a finalist for the awards in the manufacturing category, sponsored by competitive energy provider Energia.

The announcement was made at the SFA Awards Showcase in Dublin Castle last week. The awards will be presented by Awards Patron, An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, TD, to all category winners and the Overall Winner at a Gala Event in March 2015.

Daniel Wolverson of Energia commented: “Given the quality of this year’s entries, Celtic Pure are to be congratulated for making it to the final six in this year’s manufacturing category.”

“As one of the leading electricity and gas suppliers to Irish small businesses, we appreciate the work these companies are doing in powering the Irish economy and are delighted to be supporting the SFA Awards.”

Energia has a 34% market share of the Irish SME business electricity and gas market and supplies the energy needs of over 60,000 business customers. Energia invest heavily in the renewable sector and 25% of Ireland’s wind energy is provided through Energia. In addition, Energia can generate 20% of the country’s electricity needs at its 750MW gas fired power station in north Dublin.

Energia has also entered the residential electricity and gas market with a great new offer for consumers nationwide. Energia’s offer will guarantee consumers savings of up to 16% off standard rates for both gas and electricity.
