A brilliant day was had by all last Saturday when our inaugural 10/5km Fun Run was held combining the efforts of Clontibret O’ Neills Juvenile Football Club, the Parents Association of Scoil Mhuire and O’Neill Shamrocks. There was a great turnout from the Community with over 300 people participating on the day.
It was a great family occasion with Dooskey providing the music creating a party like atmosphere. The children embraced the face painting and fancy dress with spidermen to 11811 boys crossing the finishing line.
The route was well marshalled and the registrars and time keepers kept a close eye on proceedings.
