Monaghan GAA plan to start another condensed club season early next month, following the return of collective training for adult club teams this week. The county’s fixtures committee sent clubs a general outline of the schedule over the weekend, with reserve competitions first in line to resume in early June. The Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships are set to follow a similar format to last year, with a roundrobin series to be followed by knock-out stages, while condensed leagues are also set to see each division broken into two groups of five. U-19 competitions, aimed at bridging the lofty gap between the U-17 minor grade and the adult level, are again set to be thrown in during a busy schedule between late June….
