Brexit Customs supports for businesses in Co Monaghan and throughout the country will be extended for the first quarter of this year, the Government confirmed this week. 118 businesses in Co Monaghan and 79 in Co Cavan which have taken part in the Clear Customs training programme were praised this week by local Fine Gael TD and Minister for Social Protection and Community and Rural Development Heather Humphreys.
Since the beginning of this year, businesses, trading either with or through Great Britain, are subject to a range of new customs formalities and other regulatory requirements. The extended Government supports offer virtual training for staff on how to effectively complete a customs declaration and avoid the challenges.
