Senator Robbie Gallagher has received confirmation that the Bothar Oirialla Group Home in Carrickmacross for persons with a disability will open in the latter half of this year. Senator Gallagher, who has been in constant contact with the HSE and Minister Anne Rabbitte, Minister of State for Disability, says that he has been advised by John Hayes, Chief Officer CH01, that: “CH01 Disability Services has received €600,000 in its 2021 funding budget allocation to progress additional residential service and this funding will be used to support the opening of the Bother Oirialla Group Home in Carrickmacross.” Senator Gallagher added: “The Group Home requires completion of some remedial works which have been identified.
