PRODUCTION HELD UP AT CARRICK BABY FORMULA FACTORY BY CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK IN CHINA

Newbaze Ireland, trading as IreLiffey, based in Carrickmacross (whose parent company is the China-based Newbaze Group who manufacture baby formula), has had its production start date pushed out to an end of July/beginning of August timeframe due to Coronavirus, whilst also awaiting Dept of Agriculture approval.

Mr. Brendan Doyle, Human Resources Manager and Health and Safety Manager with Newbaze Ireland/ IreLiffey Brendan Doyle told The Northern Standard this week when contacted by our reporter: “Based on the Coronavirus and restricted travel from China to Ireland and vice versa, production has been pushed out to an August timeframe, but we’re hoping it’ll be before….
