Gardaí in Co Monaghan are seeking information in relation to weekend incidents in which the cars of Mass-goers were broken into and items stolen. On Saturday last a number of vehicles were broken into while parked outside St Patrick’s Church in Ballybay between 6.30-7.30 pm and St Mary’s Church, Clontibret between 7.30-8.30 pm. Members of the public who might have noticed suspicious activity at these times, or who can offer any information regarding the crimes, are requested to contact Monaghan Garda Station on 047 77240.
