Five members of staff from Combilift have been recognised for their involvement in a programme with Monaghan primary and secondary schools. Staff members Adriana Gajdosikova, Lisa Bogue, Robert Walsh and Ernest Martin all taught the five week Junior Achievement programme called Our Nation to students in St. Comgall’s National School, Clones, St. Dympna’s National School, Tydavnet, Scoil Mhuire, Clontibret and Darley National School, Cootehill while another staff member Niall Hughes, volunteered in St. Macartan’s College, Monaghan to do the Project management Skills for Life programme.
Combilift have been involved in the Junior Achievement initiative for the past 5 years and have had 26 employees volunteer to date on the various Junior Achievement programmes. The Our Nation programme focuses on the business operations and economic issues in Ireland. The Combilift volunteers visited their classes once a week for five weeks. At the end of the programme the students visited Combilift for a tour of their Global Headquarters and manufacturing facility. It also gave them an opportunity to see where their JAI…
