Our Lady’s Secondary School, Castleblayney won their first Ulster title at U-13.5 level since 1992 when they pipped St. Joseph’s Grammar School, Donaghmore 3- 11 to 3-9 in a thrilling finish to last Friday’s Corn Colmcille Final in Emyvale.
Our Lady’s held a narrow lead for most of this cracking encounter, but they needed to produce a grandstand finish, via a Tommie Duffy goal, to reclaim the lead after they had fallen behind during the final quarter. Our Lady’s started brightly, with Duffy, Max McGinnity and Tadgh Hegarty kicking early points.
