Judge emphasises vital importance of traceability to Irish cattle industry
The vital importance to the Irish cattle trade of having proper traceability procedures in place was commented upon by Judge Denis McLoughlin at Monaghan District Court on Monday when he imposed heavy fines on a Ballybay farmer who came before the court for failing to comply with Department of Agriculture regulations relating to the tagging of animals.
