One of the most scenic corners of Co Monaghan took centre stage at the Irish Public Bodies (IPB) Pride of Place awards in Letterkenny on Saturday night last when the community of Latton and Bawn scooped the top prize in their population category, beating off competition across all 32 counties to lay claim to the title of best wee community in Ireland for 2017.
