A 17-YEAR-OLD youth who escaped from gardai and prison officers while attending last Monday’s sittings of Monaghan District Court was apprehended in the St Davnet’s grounds/Rooskey Vale area of Monaghan town in the early hours of Tuesday morning, a Garda source has confirmed to the Northern Standard.
